Ok struggling to get autotimer to create events in the timer when it finds the events ok. My dm500hd is running black hole and the epg is great but is there anything I can use instead of autotimer. Also I've heard a lot about Barry Allen. What is it

I've looked into getting either a 800 Clone or a 500HD original and can't for the life of me figure out which to buy. Can anyone make any suggestions.

Anyone know where I could get a DM500HD from before tomorrow lunctime. Preferably Nottingham but anywhere within a reasonable distance would be good.

No my issue is that although I can pick up hotbird I can't unlock it with the box I have. I get excellent reception on hotbird eurobird and astra but my box doesn't do card sharing.

Ok so my take on this is that seeing as I can pick up hotbird and astra sufficiently from where I am I have put the box back on eBay. What's the best HD box to go for. I had looked at a dm800 but I understand they overheat.

Right I have bought a darkbox gds 7000 HD in conjunction with my existing sky dish I can pick up hotbird 13e astra eurobird all fine. I can't however pick up euTelsat w1 or w2 or Thor. Any ideas or should I trade my box for a dreambox

Ok but if I can get keys from somewhere for a partiular channel would I be able to enter them to view that channel.

Ok, I was intending cheaper than the £188 I've seen for a DM800 - however in the meantime I've picked up what I believe to be a Darkbox GDS for a lot less money off eBay. Is there a specific section on the forum for these or anyone got any suggestions.

Having received a lesson in HD from my mother in law of all people, my original plan of a dm500 has been superceded some. So I would like a cheap HD (component, dvi or hdmi) Linux based receiver that I could connect an existing USB or Sata drive to. I like the idea of the dm500hd without the cost.

I have an old Amstrad Sky box & viewing card. Is there anything I can do other than watching freeview?

Ok so could the same be achieved by writing to a custom card. Any ideas how this can be done and what hardware would be required.
