Sorry to kind of jump on this, but can you get a combined faceplate with 2x sat, terrestrial, dab and rj45 (preferably 2).
I have seen that mk do one with a bt socket on it, but don't need this, a couple of rj45 would be much more handy for Iplayer etc.
I can do two separate plates if needed...
Well if it is only 10 months old, you are lucky as it is still under warranty.
Make a phone call and let someone else sort the problem out while you make them a coffee...
I'd be VERY surprised if the cables that run to the socket are exactly the right length, normally there is plenty of spare slack.
The slack is there for a variety of reasons, the main one being moving or adding sockets.
Can sockets on the skirting be dangerous? Absolutely!
Have there been any...
Thanks guys, fta would be great, but as with most things in life, where there is a will there is a way!
Overseas Subscription tv would of course be a second option, but I wouldn't know anything about setting things like that up ;)
Ok, I know most people on here like the 4 wheel f1 Motorsport, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a channel in Europe that covers the motoGP (motorcycle) grand prix ?
Here in the uk we have got fairly good coverage of most actual races on bbc, but the support classes and qualifying etc is a...

Ok, these are the odd square dish- are these ok to go on a diseq motor ( I already have the als@t dark motor)
I was looking at these and wasn't sure of they would perform as good as say a 90/95cm 'conventional round' known brand (fracarro) etc dish ??
Guys,
I am in the UK, right on the South coast, and have got eveything ready to put my motorised dish up. I have the brackets and coax in place (Dreambox 8000) ready for the dish for "tuner 4" inside the Dreambox (i have a sky fixed dish package on the first 3 tuners).
I had bought a nice...
My existing fixed sky dish will remain, as this has a quad lnb which feeds two of the tuners in my dm8000, leaving another two free outputs for another (or possibly two) sat receivers if I decide to add later.
The motorised dish will only be used for the dm8000.
If it will be ok with the al$at...
Yep, it's my house and no restrictions on planning, we live just outside a cons. area but not actually in one.
The LNB is a good one (Invacom something, I'll check in a bit).
I am actually in Gosport, but easier to say portsmouth as nobody seems to know where gosport is lol!!
Is a triax a...
