Except Serial Downloader and Transbox, most other programs do work with Windows 2000 and XP. DVBEdit which I mentioned works fine on XP.

Transbox is intended for firmware and bootlaoder. For channel data transfer, use a program like DVBEdit. Apart from channel editing, a lot more could be done with this program. You can find it at http://www.coolstf.com/dvbedit

Agree with Burnham Beech. It is not worth investing in a SCSI setup just to upgrade firmware. You go for SCSI if you wanna do things like recording or streaming of video.

You will need a 50-pin high density cable and a SCSI card on your PC. Adaptec 2930 is a proven and reasonably priced card that works well with the Nokia.
