when watching sky hd moves and sport hd. My sky box is connected to my amp via an optical cable, is the sound from the above sky channels broadcast as dolby digital? My next question,, my amp seems to automatically upscale the sound to 5.1 which is great but then which is likely to be the best...

If I wanted to run 800 hd through an amp do I simply run the dvi/hdmi cable to the amp and then a hdmi cable from the amp to the tv? I also intend to run ps3 and blue ray player, again I assume I run these 2 through the amp with hdmi cable but I dnont need any more cables running from the amp...
