Actually, I took 4k receiver with the purpose to be able to watch some 4k channels. Of course, promo-channels, even if they have nice picture, are not very interesting to watch. So, I bought CA-CI+ module and card from neighboring country. They have several UHD channels available. IMG_20180227_150700 (Large).jpg

To get rid of all wires and free space under TV I've decided to move all receivers and positioners up (where I circled yellow my new made shelve). Yes, that will be ~2.5m above the floor, but we do not need to touch equipment very often, do we?

That one in the left bottom corner, is Sanyo TRANSWORLD radio, almost 50 y.o. and still in working condition.

Only small annoyance could be if any of the STBs has the light-sensing diode positioned in the chassis so that the RCU don't work well from a "down" angle.
I too have the STBs in the kid's room on a shelf above the TV (albeit not a 4K one), and one of them is very limited angle-wise...

If that happens I can lean STB's faces little bit down. Hoverer, in the living room I have already placed STB above the TV and no issues there.

I placed a mirror on the wall so I could bounce IR back from different angles in my old house as it was an odd shaped room.

So, STBs and other stuff moved to the upper shelve. Not so many cables are visible..... till you move TV forward and look behind it. Remotes are working fine.

Have gathered some Fibos for quick photo-session :D Unfortunately I have less subreflectors than main mirrors :( (10 dishes but 7 SUBs).
