No nothing. Follow the instructions in post #40. You maybe trying to upload images which are too large, resize them if need be.

Ah, a Gibertini/FR dish.

Okay, motor inclination has been set using the correct scale, although double check this as it looks a fraction too high. Use the point of the arrow to set to 52.

Drop the dish down the motor shaft.

Turn the EL bracket on the dish the other way. You may have too much dish elevation and no provision to lower.

Getting there ............

Well the Motor looks fine.

Not sure about the dish bracket from those particular pics - but it is fair to say that you appear to have it set at the very extreme of what the adjustment allows and if it were correctly assembled that should not be the case.

On the other hand, the dish doesn't look as if it's pointing wildly up in the air.

Edit: I see SM has added a bit to his own reply which indicates we are in general agreement.

Yes, a shot further back showing the dish and motor from side view so we can see the dish elevation.

Okay, their better pictures.

The dish EL is actually facing too far down for 1W, (difficult to see from other pics). Drop the dish on the motor shaft and raise the dish EL, then follow the guides :)

P.S you have someone on the flat roof watching you take the picture in the last image :D

Check your pole for it's verticality with a spirit level or plumb line. If your wall is vertical, your pole looks out to me.

USALs should be 0.7W as that's your site location.

No, Sir

Please read again all that has gone before ... Your Longitude is 0.7W, NOT 7.0W

Big difference.

Make sure you get the decimal point in the right place or you'll be 7.0 - 0.7 = 6.3 degrees out and your tracking will be dire.

Again, as stated previously, Dish normally goes somewhere on the lower third of the motor stub.

And have you corrected your Longitude yet?

No, should read 0.7 West.
