hello,
its windy here in naples but here is what i got.
sky box receiving 10.964 h and 11.053 h as well.
used a cheep satellite receiver and got a lock on both.
the cheep receiver did work some what on a 1 meter dish.
but was braking up tonight.
will try a 2 meter dish and see what happens

this can not be the spot beam can it??
i guess the normal ch 5 has stoped transmitting??

What about C4HD on the 1m, I cannot see it on my dish Fracarro 1m with Black Ultra Quad LNB. Wife wont let me put up a bigger dish, as the kids play on the roof terrace. Boo and anything bigger than 1m will most likely rip down these cheap hollow Italian walls

Channel 5+1 has gone FTA on 10964H and has already been added to Sky EPGs.

5+1, 5*, 5USA, etc are due to be added to the Freesat EPG any second now.

So the ITV's that I'm getting aren't 1N? The chart in your thumbnail is suggesting 2A/2B. Nevertheless, still good reception on Central East, South and Wales+1.

you must be doing well to still have them going m8 on that frequency, every one else i know is getting a signal but no picture....i am inbetween you in corralejo and villaverde..... on my dreambox i am getting service not found ,sid not found in pat..... others nearby are getting the same also

Yes, loud and clear with a good picture. Been good all night, just watched a 1.5hr programme on +1. E4 excellent C4HD good when it's there but pixellates and drops out for a second once every couple of minutes.

E4 your getting on a 1.35 dish off ASTRA2D

OK, I don't know where the signals are coming from. I had initially assumed 1N but Huevos posted a thumbnail which suggests otherwise. I had a bit of pixellation on the ITV channels after 11 this morning, appears o.k. now. Thor, I don't know whether you are asking me a question or making a statement. This is a great forum, but if it does have a downside, that, is that there are so many professionals here who make part statements on the presumption that others, like me, are capable of filling in the gaps. For instance, how am I supposed to categorically know whether a signal is from 1N or otherwise.

Anyway, a brief resume of what I can and cannot get.

E4HD and C5HD perfect on EPG.
C4HD good enough to watch in the evening, also on EPG.
ITV Central East and Central South. ITV+1 Wales not perfect, but infinitely watchable on 11053H 22000 5/6.

When I put the above frequency in, a number of other labels were found, 20700, 20711, 20715, 20780, 7480 and C5+1. I saved them all but have no reception on any with the exception of C5+1 which is very pixellated.

As you can see, I have a simple 1.35m dish and an Amstrad DRX890z HD Sky box.

I didn't say they weren't on 1N. I said the labels had already been in use for some time on the ITV transponder while testing. Now the channels have gone "live" they have their correct labels.

Does anyone know if EB1 will be switched off or moved once 2e,2f,2g all are online and working? just not sure how much life eb1 has left and add to that it be simpler to have less satilletes and better power with tighter beams

That's not very likely because that would mean that Eutelsat gives up this position unless SES pays them out and Eutelsat is willing to.

Launched August 2001 with a minimum life of 12 years.

And remember that satellites are lasting far longer than expected - EB1 probably has at least 5 years left yet. Eutelsat obviously arent concerned as there no replacement been ordered.

OK checked on a SkyHD box. Nothing found on any combination of FEC and Symbol rate (22000 or 27500, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6)

Sorry, I forgot to reply earlier on when you first posted this but I couldn't find anything either using a few general well known FEC/SR settings for DVB-S and S2 (I don't have blind scan) at around 13:45GMT.

Good evening everyone, i am a new user on the forum, live in Greece southern Peleponesse, Ermioni.
I currently have a Pace fringe box and 1.75m dish, up untill last week i could get 5 5 star and 5 USA, now all gone, get channel 4 4+1 lots of ITV differant regions, all on other channels, Pick TV and Sky news and 1 CBS channel on normal sky epg channels. Bit worried about losing more channels, am not that good technically, so any ideas for more channels greatfully recieved.

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.

Nothing you can do bud - just wait for more channels to disappear onto the new uk beam.

The rest of the standard def ITV regions will probably be the next to move.
