I dunno why it doesnt look so good in that photo just had a look and it looks straight and solid in real life. Its survived 120 kmh winds in the past ...

Lanzarote update

Yes I have had 11126 here on a 1.35 & have watched it but dropped out an hour later.
Very border line. Not a chance of the horizontals though. Will give more info tomorrow.
Ch5 & family definitely remapped to 1N as all gone here on 1.2/1.35M
Hey trigger, thanks for this glimmer of hope. Can you tell me what make of dish you have, LNB and cable type/run length ? Also which of your boxes brought in C4 HD from 1N ? Many thanks.

KOS are listing it as 2037 - maybe it's their typo.

2037 relates to 28.2E TP37 (ie 12422H), this is what TSID 1N's 10694H Txp has also been radiating since illumination however now Sky's EPG has been remapped to TP57 the TSID has changed to 2057 and KOS will need to update this. This means those still able to get 12422H doing an 'other channels' scan won't have any joy as Sky STB's will look at the TSID and attempt to jump to 10964H, in effect the opposite of what's been happening over the last few weeks since dual illumination when people were trying to see how strong TP57 was.

Their box hasnt picked up the epg stream change for some reason and its still getting the widebeam version. It'll probably pick the change up overnight.
if he has not got 3.8.8 would that make a difference

At a guess, brief 11126V reception possibly due to an Iinverto black ultra and 2/3 FEC correction.

A I got told off for posting a question on the eastern 1N report thread I have been redirected here.:D

Are the new 1N transmissions running concurrently with the existing transmissions or is it purely 1N now.

If not, when will the transmissions from the old satellite be terminated now that the transfer to 1N has been confirmed.

Concurrently - the widebeam versions of the 1N transmissions will be terminated in the near future.

have customers still getting C5 and C5HD here in tenerife - so are SKY HD boxes not mapped across yet

from other thread...
OK. Just caught up on the 1N chat, most people are saying that they have lost C5.
I am still receiving C5HD on the EPG.
Re-scanned the 5 family bouquet on 12422H which had been deleted yesterday, my box found all the tags which I saved. Whilst trying to view, all showed "No satellite signal..." with one exception, for literally a few seconds, the 7720 worked then went off as well. Very strange. Maybe there is more to it than initially meets the eye!

Well continuing 5HD reception is to be expected - it isnt moving at the moment as far as we know. Its unlikely to go clear for another 6 months

Hi, no problem here (near Nola, Naples) with a 140 dish , Inverto black ultrA and a skybox hd + sky subscription card.
No problem with C4Hd,5, 5* etc etc. I think the same will happe in your area.

Ciao
Vincenzo

Quite possibly - I havent seen many HD box reports around yet. We will know one way or another in the next couple of weeks.

...it seems astra 1n's reception is currently much better than astra 2d in the naples / caserta areas . Hopefully I will be able to use my dish still for a while. :) Any chance to get any of the bbc via 1n ? Should I have to be happy already this way?

Ciao a tutti
Vincenzo

If they have a large enough dish they will still get CH5 sd as there is a version still on 2D and is on a BBC transponder..................my 105 Channel5 is definitely Astra 2d

Sometime next year.

Hi, just a curiosity: on my skybox I can receive the 105 position - C5 . I am quite sure it's NOT possible I'm getting it from astra 2d (as I get no bbc/itv/utv/ etc etc ), is it ?

Thanks :-)

All the SD Channel 5 regions (except the one on Astra 2D) moved to 1N the other day.

Yup - Sky cards issued to addresses in much of England (not London or the north) or Wales will be mapped to C5 Region 2 on Astra 2D.
