On a Fibo (or any other Gregorian dish), it would be more or less at the centre of the feed arm.

Most professional dishes have the feed attached directly to the backplate, not bolted to the reflector, and from memory the Fibo has a casting backplate which extrudes to the base of the reflector with the boom held by an allen bolt, unless my memory is failing.
Thats right for the 90 cm Fibo , not for the 120 .
For the 120 I made the changer with the moto near to the dish

Mine would be a motor under the dish for a Channel Master 1.8, a 3 way LNB holder one for C band and 2 x 40mm holders.
Is that OK ?

@Trust1 : How many 40 mm LNB holder with 2 Cband LNB (including their conical feedhorn) it's possible to put on your lnb changer project for Channel Master 1.80m ?

My best configuration could be:

- 2 KU LNBf (one linear, one circular)
- 2 Cband: one Linear & one Circular,
- 1 SMW KA 'CD'and
- 1 KA "B"
- 1 KA "A"
- 1 : 40 mm holder for "test"

possible ? , if not what is the maximum ?

Thanks again for your proposal .

I would like 5 holders if possible.

2x C band side by side
3x Ku band side by side

Motor under dish. Will the motor be attached to the dish itself or to the main bracket?

Only the Scopus version can be made with a standard SG2100A by the 150º turn range ( only 180º gear inside )
For CJ and Feedsat there will be a rotor with a inside 360º gear neccesary , like the Dark motor (more expensive)
Turning by diseqc 1.2 without software and hardware limits , has still a restriction of 270º , but that will do (I think) I have to make a drawing and do some calculating .
The motor is attached together with the new feedarm with the 2 screws at the same place where the original lower tube was attached .
The side arms will be adjustable by M6 inox rod attached to inox brackets that also allows to attach strengthening rods at the backside of the dish .
Since everyone has its own kind of polarmount so you will have to attach those rods by yourselfs .

With the SG2100 under the dish , there might be a rain issue , maybe better to switch over to the Dark motor and make it the standard for the changers .
The F connectors are in a better position .

Lowering the feedarm and make the lnb support arm longer , gives a longer lnb radius , so more space .
I think all of them is possible

No, didn't open it up or drive it with any diseqc control from a receiver so it might have some E - W software limit set. It is exactly as it came in the box. All i did was connect 18 volts to it and did a manual E - W travel test with the motor buttons, which seems to give about 170 deg. I will try and do a video clip of it doing E / W travel if the site will allow a video file to load. I drilled my adapter plate , see rough preliminary drawing / pic , to take the 170 deg thing into consideration .... if it will go to 180 deg , i'll just pop another set of holes in it.

... Couldn't do the video showing the travel speed etc due to file size. Picture shows maximum angles E-W for untouched Dark Motor so might be worth opening it up to see if there is any simple adjustment so as to achieve 180deg should anybody wish to put more than three units on the plate.
Travel speed is not too bad with 18.5 volts supply.
