Funny thing is that, when I checked about 20 mins ago, the windspeed here in W.London was higher than it was on various places on the S. Coast!

If you mean not oooop north, we had a clear and sunny morning, and it is not expected to cloud over until after dark. Rain expected after 6pm.

Well, here it's grey and overcast, about 3 degrees C.
Since early afternoon we've had something halfway between fog and a light drizzle.

BUT, entirely irreverend to the thread title, I *did* get the BBQ out this afternoon, fired it up with no problem (as long as charcoal has been stored inside), and did a veal rump steak.
Steady drizzle, but Mr Weber delivered quite nicely.
Here's the leftovers for tomorrow...
