The only thing that may possibly change is SlyUK will follow suite with Sly Italia, then we'll all be looking for a new Emu. I hear rumours of a working solution for sly italia is around now, but thats all it is , rumour, at the moment.

Yes is true now: from yesterday S*y It is now working with Oscam (a new release every hour!!!!) + Mgcamd or Oscam + CCcam.

Just thought i would create this thread to people having problems/freezing when using the sky card with CCcam 2.1.3. My question is what is the correct clock speed to go into the CCcam.cfg. If your CCcam 2.1.3 is running without freeze post your configuration.

Hi, I have CCcam 2.1.3 running on a Reelbox. I seem to not be receiving EMMs.
If you have your box running, how many EMMs do you get? Should there be a few a day?
Trouble is the box has a special client built in, which cannot send EMMs to CCcam.
Just to make clear, I am not sharing - this is all about my local box.

When I activate EMM in the client, I get flooded by EMMs and my channels freeze up.

But surely Ccam running on a sat reciever should be able to update the card, without clients.

Please help me, I have absolutely no idea how to solve this.
I used to have a Dreambox and changed over to the Avantgade which is a great reciever, but support for cams by the community is minimal.

I know the info is confusing, but that is exactly what is happening.

I thought CCcam installed on a sat receiver can automatically get EMMs and update entitlements.


The speciality of the Avantgarde is that it runs VDR. For every cam you install you have to still use VDR-SC which is an extra client. It has an older version of CCcam built in.
You always need a combination of the two, that is the main difference to a dreambox.


If I let this client send EMMs my channels freeze and CCcam gets flooded - as seen on the WebIF.
If I switch EMMs off in the client, all is great - but I do not seem to get any EMMs - therefore my card does not get updated.
So it seems that Ccam 2.1.3 cannot cope with the EMMs sent through this client.

Up until a few months ago this SC could directly communicate with CCcam, but that has changed - for the worse.


I hope you might still have an idea what to do. How many EMMs do you get? Are they only sent near the date when the card should update?

I solved it, inputing the 17 characters bar code did work at the back of the box.

Which emulator works for E1 (7000 series) and if so anything that needs to specially setup - i.e. internet login or manual and where to put boxkey.
Oh, not again they say, but we have had this forum drift so far off the original text that even with the best concentration even I have got lost.

So please can we clarify a few points because my wife is now giving me a hard time.

You can use CCcam 2.13 in all 7000 series boxes just fine, the card stays nice and cool.
and yes you need a box key in your config.file.

Is it too early to know whether the card has updated with the latest authorisations, sadly I am busy for the next coupe of days so will not be able to return on the progress of my machine

Guys CCcam 2.1.3 runs this card perfectly at the moment. The card stays at a normal operating temp. and takes entitlement updates regardless of which reader you use. It works in the internal readers in all boxes, and it works in the smargo.
If you're struggling to setup CCcam 2.1.3 with this card then use my config creator now in v0.9.0. Click the link in my sig for my config creator.

Hi. I notes a small bug in dreamconfig 9.0 in my case it gives me answear with extra 0 on the beginning of boxkey and the card will not work but I am clever and I did what I should do <-- just a joke. if you get to big boxkey which start with zero and card wont work, simply delete that 0. thank you

Thanks for reporting the bug. Did you get an error message at all ? If you would like to help fix that bug in the Config Creator please let me have as much info as you can about the problem.

Did you input 9 to 11 characters or 17 characters ?
Did the BoxKey creator give you an error message at all ?

I don't want to take this thread off topic so could you please report your findings either in the Dreambox Config Creator v0.9.0 release thread or add a comment to my blog. Thanks.
