You get what you pay for.
I don't understand the question. You just cascade the switches. So you could have LNB -> DiSEqC 1.0 -> DiSEqC 1.1 -> receiver, ... or you could have LNB -> DiSEqC 1.1 -> DiSEqC 1.0 -> receiver. To get to 64 LNBs you either have one EMP 16:1 (or equivalent) and sixteen DiSEqC 1.0 switches, or, one DiSEqC 1.0 switch and four EMP 16:1.
HI H
My fault I thinking the 64 lnbs reference is whats causing me the confusion.
Right its 20-24 lnbs
How do I get 20-24 lnbs into one receiver.
I know the 16/1 emp will cover the 16 originally planned, but as I have made some extra space on the bar. I am sticking 20-24 lnbs on there.
so where I am confused is that I cant figure out how many emps I will need.
This is what the 4/1 emp look like

Will it be be a case of a bulk buy of 4/1 - maybe a mix of a 16/1 and 3 * 4/1s
I feed 16 lnbs into the 16/1emp. (16)
I feed 4 lnbs into the 4/1 (+4)
I feed 4 lnbs into the 4/1 (+4)
and then those 3 wire into a 4/1 to obtain 24 lnbs or 20 if I use 1 less 4/1.
Does this make sense or is this all wrong.
I know it says that 64 can be done with emp - but how do you get
20 or 24?
cheers
