A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You would need a 3.8m dish as a minimum to receive c-band from 53 East in Cairo.

Go back to the beginning and follow the instructions EXACTLY. We are a technical forum and dont give users the easy route out. If you cant get it going from the instructions supplied then you have to do without.

Or put the money you will have saved to date into buying into a useful piece of equipment, like a 3.8m dish and C band LNB.

3. Getting the feed channel

Every Enigma2 receiver when it gets tuned to a T2-MI transponder will not download the channels directly (although this automation has to be implemented in the near future). Instead the tuner will lock and download a data channel. In the following example we used a T2-MI transponder on the C band of Express AM7 satellite on 40E.

In this image you can see that this frequency (3685L) is tuned normally with the internal tuner.

Now, scanning the frequency downloads the data service (it might take a while).

This does not work here. I'm using a VU+ Zero 4k which can lock and scan other Multistream (4.8E, 5W).
I'm testing on Astra 4A at 4.8°E, 12188 H/30000.
I have signal + lock but when I want to scan I get no result (so also no data channel).
I tried adding the services manualy, but no results.
What can I do to get these channels?

T2-MI is *not* multistream. You can have T2-MI encapsulated into multistream as well as not.

You need to install astra-sm and add as bouquet manually for zeonbud. I like watching the M1 ukraine music channel from 4.8e.

This one is Multistream (according to Lyngsat and Flysat). But I also noticed I have signal and lock without Transponder stream type to 'Multistream'.

I have installed astra-sm and tried adding the bouquet manually. Perhaps I did not do that right, can you give me some tips?

Yeah, this one is both, multistream and T2-MI - a double whammy. I can't really help you with ZeonBud as I don't have it configured but my Solo2 and HD51 both downloaded a "dummy" data channel from other T2-MI transponders, so not sure why the Zero isn't doing it.

Perhaps someone already has a ready made list.

I'm also having this problem with my Octagon SF4008, it doesn't download a data channel, added it manually but it doesn't seem to work like that. Anybody know a work round for this?

Zeon bud Step 1 (Astra 4.8e T2MI)

telnet or ssh your box

Step 2

opkg install astra-sm
init 2
init 4

(init 2 & 4 will enable you to write over to the lamedb while the box is running)

Step 3

Open ftp client and over write files to the same path areas in the zip

/var/etc/astra/astra.conf
/var/etc/engima2/lamedb
/var/etc/engima2/userbouquet.zeonbud.tv

Step 4

reboot

Step 5

Go to the Zeonbud Bouquet!

works on vix and openpli tested on Octogan Sf4008 and Mutant 51.

hopefully this will help you out! includes 30w-62e motorised lists.m1.jpg
