I thought your neck of the woods was part of the UK, Pete? An enclave, if you will.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Your welcome to mine:-rofl2

If that happened here, the government would declare armageddon, cos it'll be the end of the world as far as they see it when their standard car tyres fail to get up a slight incline on that kind of snow.... :-rofl2

And speaking of snow, the stuff that fell during the night left about half an inch, enough to cause mass chaos on the roads I'm sure, in this country that is... :-doh

We had about 30cm here Friday, nice and sunny today and the snow as nearly gone apart from this that I pilled up clearing the path and a bit of road.

If it's pre decimal snow, then it will be over 40 years old! . . . . . . it should have melted by now!! :D

Probably about 9 inch around my house Pete, but on higher ground almost a foot in pre decimal:):(,

It took me 3 hours to do a usually half hour drive to get the wife to work the other morning :(
