    Sat-Link WS6933

Hi there, I am getting one of these tomorrow! I'm not sure if there will be much in the way of documentation with it, but if there is happy to share it with you. Given time since you first posted this request I'm guessing you have mastered the use of the device? Any thoughts /comments? Have I...

    Vivacom CAM

Always seeking to push the boundaries, otherwise known as reducing the number of cables and boxes!!! Many thanks for applying the collective mind.

    Vivacom CAM

To further illustrate what I am saying. Could you tell sky that you have a new sky box ( in this case a Vivacom NDS cam, assuming you know the box key ( if there is one) for the Vivacom nds cam and ask sky to pair your card with that new box (aka Vivacom nds cam) Sent from my iPhone using...

    Vivacom CAM

Yes to clarify I was being cautious about what I was asking, but for the purposes of this discussion, what I was getting at was : if one had an nds card for vivacom and the subscription expired.... Could you use the otherwise defunct Cam (assuming you don't renew with vivacom) as an means of...

    Vivacom CAM

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I suspected it wasn't that simple otherwise lots of folk would be doin it ( well a good few sat fanatics) at any rate! [emoji3]. Have never used the os*** system. SWMBO always complains about the number of boxes and cables..... Life would be a little easier...

I know that Vivacom is an nds cam.. My question is do nds cams have box numbers you can pair a viewing card to? So if I had an nds cam say from Vivacom for which the subscription had expired- would it be possible to pair another litigitimate subscription viewing card with it? I would prefer to...

    What to do - multisat?

I had the Tim 5402 on my possible list, does it have ci+ feature which seems to be more prevalent. Will it recognise a 10/1 diseqc switch by opticum? Certainly seems to get good press in sensitivity stakes. Thanks for the replies. Nisatman

    What to do - multisat?

Since I asked my question, my main receiver has packed in , the octagon no longer works, red light flashing, no other sign of life! Obviously I am a bit sad about this, and I hope a few of the contributors would provide some thoughts and guidance? The octagon wasn't that old , about 2,5 years...

    Triax Td110 On Pole

Would agree with capt jack seems very high. How easy is it to get the pole down. I have to say initially my dish was up at eve of house, it was a nightmare to adjust. So I set up the motor on a pole on ground using a workmate work bench... Temporarily to make sure every was working as it should...

Hi tooner, assume you have entered the correct lat long into the receiver? Are you using the usals setting to drive the dish? Are you setting 5west as the top of the arc? Tivu suggestion good sometimes photo can help the experts see what might be amiss?
