Hi Wod That old bracket to the left looks lonely, a brace the centre of your pole would really stiffen the setup. Hope you don't mind my five eggs?? Chris

    The Garden Isle

Wod Neighbour got uptight when I removed my rotten fence of 20+ years, as I said with the intention of replacing same. The dish is now in full view to him. The ST550 runs the Nokia/Moteck dish. V-Box runs the big green dish, used to have a Uniden controller, but it had limited positions, did'nt...

Neighbour recently complained, when I took the fence down with the intention of replacing it, visit from planning inspector followed. Nice chap...

It may be useful to know about the four year rule, I have four dishes in my secluded back garden, a neighbour decided after a fence dispute to call in the planning enforcement officer, a very nice officer told me that if I could prove they had been in place for more than four years, then they...

    Help ProgDVB

Hi Rolf Thanks for the prompt reply, I thought I could bypass the scan by just inputting data, as I think I did with DVBViewer. When I first had DVBViewer I registered and downloaded a comprehensive manual, thanks again for your advice, I will persevere. Chris

H or V and symbol rate, which I get from FeedHunters, I am then asked for SID TID and NIT, also I need to fill in the PID Table, the PID Table I can get from my Plaza on another dish. But this is a convoluted way of doing it, and I still don't...

    The suitable paint for Dishes

Hi, I painted mine with green undercoat (mat finish) some ten years ago, still OK, your location suggests lots of sun, hence gloss paintwould could focus sun on LNB, what about mat emulsion to blend with surroundings, you will be surprised how tough this paint is. Chris.

    Plaza ST550 DC positioner

Thanks Stocksie for the reply, I think it is a combination of very long cable, and or Plaza that is giving me the problem, I see the thread regarding cable and Plaza's has popped up again on "Feedhunters" The dish motor works fine when connected to my Uniden UST771, but it has a limited number...
