Ok but I dont have the option to move by degrees, only adjust Motor and when I select it I get the option to move West or East, Store Postions, Go to Postion, Go to Refernce, Set West Limit, Set East Limit and Enable Limit

i went to Thor 1W but as I said to you I can only move the dish with a motor by using the remot control and no indication on the dish satting page to tell me by how many degrees the dish moved

OK, let's start from scratch, enter a new satellite AB£, then add the transponder, then drive west to it until the signal strength and quality show that you've found it. Then scan the transponder.

Ok I did that, I went to AB3 and selected Transponder 11590 V Pol 20000 Rate 2/3 and moved to the west and I got good Signal strength and quality

Now try scanning it.

no i dont i have only this Receiver called Marned

I'm just wondering if it has perhaps reached its storage limit, how many channels have you got stored?

2928 chanels and it takes 5000 chanels

Well you are either not on the correct satellite, or the box is unable to store the channels, What satellites can you actually receive?

well, The once I am using on other chanels are, Astra 1, Hotbird, Eutelsat W3 and Eutelsat 2 F3

Can you give a complete description of your system and whether it was set up to get the whole arc, as from the sound of it, you are not receiving anything west of 13 East.

The Receiver is Called Marned it is a digital, the dish is 130cm, and has motor conected to it, I had someone fitted it for me, not sure what arc.

So is this a 36v motor on the dish?

Can you provide us with some pictures of the dish and motor, particularly when it is supposed to be pointing at 5W.

You may need to speak to your installer and ask him whether the arc is set to receive 5W and others West of the satellites you have.

Waht is your longitude?

ok i will take some photos tomorrow of the dish and motot, and my longitude is 6 15 w.
the persone who install it is no longer in business, closed down.
