You have to take these things a day at a time, and enjoy them whilst they are still available - there are no guarantees in this game..

I just did a channel research and theres still "bbc hd" but it shows exacly the same programs as bbc hd 2.
I guess they didnt have time to change the id

Just need to revive this thread and ask those in the know why for the life of me can't I clear S4C HD, STV HD and UTV HD when all the others HD and SD channels come loud and clear ?? I'm not really sure if they're actually being transmitted but the EPG data is definitely there.

I'm aware that both Flysat and Lingsat say that but kos say otherwise plus when you scan the transponder those channels are there with their own epg present. Have you actually scanned it yourself ??

Well I've just scanned once again and the channels are there. Go figure. I'm not interested in who's saying if the channels are there or not. I know for a fact that they are. What I want to know is why I can't clear them and if you can't answer that, fair enough. Thanks anyway ....

The Channel idents may be there and broadcast but there is nothing there at all, i have tried to capture the stream with my TBS card and it records 0 bytes

What streams? The streams of said channels are missing. No problem to scan. The services are listed in PAT and SDT and they have a correct PMT but the ES_PIDs are missing.

The channel names are being broadcast but not the channels themselves. It's like walking past a cinema and seeing a film advertised as showing - you buy a ticket, walk in and sit down and the screen is (and stays) totally black.

As of last night I can't clear any channels anymore. I get Service Invalid ! (timeout reading PMT) message on my Vu+ Solo2 .
