Agreed. Unless you can somehow mould it to the dish surface, water usually gets behind any self adhesive material and it eventually falls off anyway.

I was going to cut exact shape with a vinyl cutting machine, it seems to last on other stuff outside.

Instead of sticker it is possible to aerograph image to the dish. Good paint will stay forever. I have 1.8m dish painted that way.

I did only planning, transportation to professional painter and installation. Now I have this dish hanging on the sealing in the garage as a piece of art.

Raining today so can't do much, but got some "Inox" bolts and washers for LNB holder.


Also had wire brush attachment on the drill to prep some parts ready to Zinc coat then Paint:

Decided to strip down the CM Polar Mount, will clean these up, remove any rust, primer them and paint them.
I've settled on Original CM Light Grey, also known as Aldi Silver Non Metalic.

All the bolts are going to be replaced with "Inox", Inspected the bearings and they need replacement so will order some new ones.

You better not change this bolt. Firs of all scale will be lost, and secondly there is imperial thread..... not easy to find such a bolt in INOX (if possible at all). Existing one looks good enough.

No this bolt will not be going
I will clean up the nuts and zinc coat them. I probably have lots of imperial nuts here...

once you've painted the dish apply the logo and then put a coat of clear lacquer over the top to seal it on.
