Just arrived home , was all day at/on the river
Praise be to the great gods of Norse,
You were at or on the river/ rather than under it! If that were the case, we would all be lost!
How does that bit fit in this bit!:D

Hello,
Here is the reply, from Chris of Laminas:

"Hi

I think this dimentions you may need. Especially important is that focus there is 10 mm before front of lnb arm."

GH = 42 mm
AG = 1025 mm
Focal length = 1100

I think, he put original central side arm on the drawing. (in black)

Thank you Chris from everyone for excellent and fast answer.

Now, if you asked Channel Master (or whatever they are these days) the same question - I doubt we would get any sort of reply like that.

Credit to Laminas! And thanks to Milamber and Cardiff for getting in touch with them.

Yes indeed, great response from Laminas, we thank you. Also to Cardiff, thanks. Chris, if you are following the link, please thank the designer, design team.

Big question now, @Trust1 and @RimaNTSS , does it answer the questions, or create more? I´m sure the team at Laminas will help more if required.

This even bring more questions , they just took the drawing made by the parabola calculation and wright down : point G is 141 mm higher .
By that all other data exept H-E should change .
Point X is importent to me .
Is point H the middle of the dish or the deepest point ? (or both ?)
Sorry guys , but i hoped for a detail drawing with also the position of the side-arm holes in the dish since I've got 3 different data from 3 different members .

All parts for 2 changers are ready , exept the final side plates to attach the motor to the beam .
Packing stuff is also in the house .

Agree with Wim.... this also brings more questions for me as well. I wrote an e-mail to Chris from Laminas ( I was in contact to him some time ago, during conversations about offset angle  , which was changed afterwards). My basic question to Laminas now is : Why LNB's aiming point on the surface of the dish is so high? It is clearly seen that antenna is not evenly illuminated by LNB! I do not know, maybe there is some reason to rise LNB's line so high. I better wait for the answer. In green now data provided by Laminas. That is clear, that if Wim's rotating laser was inserted in LNB-holder, the star would not make a circle on the surface of the dish. Also position of the focus 10mm in front of the holder.... can that be real?!

Add: BTW, for this antenna, center of the parabola is not located in point B! Therefoire, distance B-F is not the Focal lengths.

I´m just having a good look at the diagram. On the image, a-g is 1166 , in notes a-g 1025 ! Just done a quick calculation using a scale ruler and a -g is 1166 not 1025 as the note suggest. Assuming drawing is to scale.

Way forward, ask the questions you need the answer too, Cardiff or I will send to Laminas, or if all are agreeable, advise e-mail address and I will send to Laminas and perhaps you can talk direct?

EDIT: Wrote this post while RimaNTSS was posting his. He is already in direct contact with Laminas as well.
Suggest we think of all the questions we need answers to, and one of us asks direct to Laminas. I will try and arrange a direct contact with the design team, when we have all the agreed questions

Wait, the answer from Laminas to the question of @RimaNTSS about his drawing . I think: he is the most competent (with @Trust1) to ask the right questions.

I'm confused by all these different measurements....

But everyone can continue to help

With three different measurements, make three different fixing points...

It aint that simple , three diff, lenght of beam , three diff. angle motor side plates , three diff. side arm brackets .

OK, I´ll be honest now, I´m giving up the will to live! We tried our best and failed miserably, in the meantime RimaNTSS now has a direct contact with Laminas, which he is happy with. Suggest you @Trust1 and @RimaNTSS decide the questions, ask the questions, get the answers, make the bits, then let the rest of us know when it´s sorted.
I am so happy I only want 1 ( one ) LNB !

I wanted to say about the more technical questions about its own calculations and its own drawings and schematics (@RimaNTSS and @Trust1).

We can always ask for Chris, he knows us, and he has always been a very good communicator, we are always free.

OK, now you're going to be honest, you're still alive, 5 LNB is enough or more it's possible. It's going to be (Lnb Changer).

Keep your brain for something else, and later for requesting @Trust1 about a detail: drawing with also the position of the side-arm holes in the dish.

I put myself in hibernation with one eye open.
