Correct, no audio on the TV. I need to pipe it to my AV amp and see..

Mine arrived today. No audio on French channels except France 3 which is in MPEG-1

Great pictures and sound on all other channels.

Does anyone know... Does the SF4008 have sound in the French Multistream Channels?

No, the same. Must be a problem perhaps
as Stephen says. I was going to
try the raw digital output to my AV amp and see what difference, if any that made.

Sorry Laser, I misread your post, I thought you were talking about the SX88. Don't know if the SF4008 is the same.

There are two possibilities a STB will play a video/sound codec
1. Hardware capability (the chipset supports this codec). If there is not, no miracles can happen.
2. The chipset supports the codec but it has to be activated. Sometimes manufacturers do have the hardware but don't pay the royalties

So what do you think happens with SX88? My bet is on 1.

My SX88 arrived this morning all multi-streams working :) French tv no sound 5 west.

I did try the ATV Telecom Bouquet & Antena 3 Uniprex on 30 west but to no avail.

The ATV Bouquet is OK with me. Could not get Uniprex though.P1010062.JPG
