Sorry I should note I am in Malta... but I get the 2B ITV channels fine and I was led to believe that 2C was very much wider.

I get most non 2D channels on Sky, only ones of note I don't receive any more are DiscoveryHD and FX+1

Yes, channel 5 gets a better reception than channel 4 if anything.

I'm getting "No Satellite Signal" on any of the channels on 11052H 22000 5/6 with SkyHD box?

I've been able to add the channels on my SD Didgibox in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands but I am also getting a "No Satellite Signal" message when I try to view any of them. Do I need to try on a FTA box?

I have not tried the ITV feeds on my 80cm in the other house. I have a 2.4m Channel Master here at home, so I may have jumped the gun on this one.

Also......Fuerteventura & Lanzarote are the furthest away from 2C North beam of the canary Islands. OK for South

We are receiving this in Cyprus as well.When Five went to 2C it baecame one of the strongest signals here. I did notice another strong signal next to the Five signal on the spectrum analyser but it had been inactive for a long time.Now its the repeat of the 10,714 from 2D.
And Five receivable on a 1.5m dish so I will check this new one tomorrow.

Are you sure they set the correct SR / FEC?

2C North does have a spot beam for the Canaries according to the SES foootprint maps. However bizarrely it appears to be "out to sea" where there is actaully no land mass. I always assumed this was an error in the maps. If they are correct then this could be the problem.

Also the maps say 1.2 m for the Canaries. We receive "five" on an 80 cm, but maybe the North beam needs the 1.2m :-Nooo

Quick update.Because I have a London card and we can't get ITV London over here, I use other channels,anglia(10.714).and for test purposes central(10.832) and yorkshire(10.891)
Now when I go to other channels,anglia(10.714) does not work without card (but is fta on 11.052). the other transponders still fta.

I've a 1.5m dish - I get very good signal on Channel4 (only breaks up during storms), I get Setanta (which a lot of the people on this island struggle with) - so don't understand why I can't receive these when the maps say I should be flying.

I have just checked again using the channels I added earlier tonight. The Now/Next info is still there, but I am getting a blue screen - no pictures or sound.

They still appear when you scan using "Add Channels" (on my big dish).

I guess ITV's testing man has been working late and has just gone off home leaving us with nothing for now

Works in Lanzarote no problem on my Darkbox (about half scrambled). My sky plus finds them and stores them but shows no signal. But I only have one feed to this box until tomorrow as moved house so until then cant confirm whats what.
